Anyone on here have experience or know the good and bad of a fleece cheetah 68mm vnt vs a garret 4094 Avnt, pretty close in price but the fleece claims to support more hp and is also billet wich is kinda swaying me in that direction it would be going on a Lbz,

A co-worker and close friend put the fleece on his 06 in my garage. Its a nice piece! Loud as hell on high idle with no muffler. I shared your post on our facebook page and tagged him in it, hopefully they will chime in.

Thanks brook the more I look at it the more appealing the fleece is becoming a lot of people on duramax forum seem to be less then happy with the garret claiming it feels "laggy" and drops off in the top end

The basic turbo is the same. Fleece and Danville have both taken the design and done their own modifications to help with laginess as well as the ability to flow more air. With that said it depends on what your ultimate goals are. These are popular turbos for the Duramax that a ton of people have used which usually makes them the go to. But the more I dig in to it the more I'm looking at going fixed vane

Ya I've thought about going the fixed vane route too I'm not trying to get too crazy maybe around the 600 hp mark is my end goal got other projects I need to budget too haha but I like the street manners of a vnt vs a big single

An S366 will spoil lightening fast and capable of over 600hp so I would look at that route bud
