Bought this truck off of Mike Hanzuk as a rolling shell and overall it was pretty rough but I saw the potential and wanted to swap over as much as possible from my '92 D250. What started as a simple body swap turned out to be way more involved, every single bushing, mount, insulator, clip, nut and washer has been replaced unless I couldn't source a proper replacement. Engine is from the '92 and has Lucas POD "50hp" sticks, tuned injection pump with Denny T pin, hungry diesel AFC spring and 3200 gov spring kit as well as advanced timing. Converted to HX35W turbo which I rebuilt and has an adjustable boost elbow and 4mm silicone wastegate hose, currently making 32psi in conjunction with a Denny T grid heater delete, currently fabbing up 3" piping and using a 24v intake horn. Tranny is a Getrag 360 which works for now, has no 4th gear for some reason and haven't looked into it. Eventually will be getting a new NV4500 and I have new PTO coolers to install at that time. Has a valair single disc clutch and all new hydraulics. Currently rebuilding the Dana 60 front with all Yukon and Timken parts and will remain otherwise stock. Went through the rear with new bearings and seals and installed a Powertrax no-slip locker in it, have a high capacity cover I have yet to install. Sits on full 4" spring lift and has brand new 37" military tires being put on this weekend.

I talk to Garret on a regular basis (and obviously sold it to him). I can tell you this thing has come a long way. A lot of time and money and it shows. Stoked to see it at the end of the summer!!

Been working on a lot of the little things while I've been waiting on the shop to open back up so I can do the front diff. Making a retainer for the leather shifter boot to clip into for my 2nd gen shifter. Also hooking up a mechanical water temp gauge, finishing up my exhaust and got a set of front seats from an '04 Chevy to put in it. When it gets in the shop the diff is getting done, brand new 6" front springs and crossover steering.
