Decided a few months ago to do a full delete and not skimp on the blocker plate shenanigans and pave the way for easier mods in the future. Got the full HSP diesel hot and cold side and Y-bridge. In the end could have fabricated the tubing easy enough and bought the Y-bridge... but, for the amount of guess and check it would have taken with my limited skills... i was happy to have it rolling out of the shop in a day. The beginnings A little before shot of the engine bay Stuff going missing..

More flow more go... someday And thats the finished project... Not really much of a write up of procedures... but I would be happy to give pointers to anyone undertaking this project, really wasn't as bad as some forums like to make it out to be.. if you are patient an have a good stick magnet... haha. I'd also like to thank the EPA for putting all that emissions equipment on and saving our air... I'm sure it did whatever it was supposed to do.. but now that I'm getting over 5 mpg better... I think I'm gonna keep it off. ***of this... track use only vehicle*** of course.

That looks awesome man. Makes me want to get the wife's done. We need to do it soon! I'm a little hesitant to pull the trigger though, not sure if it'll fit with the future turbo plans.

Love the nasties left by the stock system, impressed by how much larger that piping is

Looks good! How was the y bridge itself? That looks to be a chore to me. Still have the factory one in for now. I blocked mine at about 40k and deleted it at about 50k. Got a pic of the inside of the Y bridge somewhere..

The y-bridge was more scary before I did it. A few friends of mine had experienced trouble in doing them, and forums talk heavily on how much of a pain they are. My suggestion is a set of pivot head ratcheting wrenches (I picked up a set at home depot just for this for like 40 bucks), and a lot of combinations of swivels and extensions for 1/4 drive. I also found it helped to loosen my turbo which in the end helped big time. With the problems everyone complained about, I felt it was way easier then expected. Once I got down to the factory y-bridge itself... less then 30-45 minutes to have the new one in.. and that was with having a beer and cleaning the valley haha. If you have any specific questions feel free to PM me.

That's awesome. Thanks for the update. Did you use standard or metric ratcheting swivel head box wrenches? I have standard but need some metric. Also you said combinations of swivels and extensions of 1/4 inch drive... Could you do it with 3/8 or is there a space restraint that you have to use 1/4

Ok thanks. I decided to leave it for now.. I talked to Scott at SDP and he said they have a couple trucks running it with no issue. Same set up medium hp. Went back and forth, but I guess I'll change it if I have a problem.

Honestly off the top of my head I'm not sure. I want to say it was metric though. The set I picked up had both. And I don't think the swivels on the 3/8s fit down in the valley. I used 1/4. The 8 bolts are really small and don't take much to loosen. My y-bridge was built so the bottom 4 bolts you could start and then set the bridge down in, made install pretty easy. This was with the HSP, but I couldn't tell ya about any other brand.

HSP makes really nice stuff. Well that's awesome guess I'll be picking up the metric set to match my standard set and some 1/4" swivels when time comes
