Well I guess it's time to start a build thread. So a little background on the truck. I purchased the truck in Indiana with 54k miles truck had a good start for a build but needed some fixing. It did 709/1404 on the dyno with that setup. Had 60% over injectors and 66/s475 compounds. Since then I have changed up some things a little. Here is what the cirrent build consists of.
66/S483 compounds 250hp bd injectors which actually flowed 225% over Evil twin cp3 kit HD pushrods HD valve springs Aftermarket intercooler Fass 150 1 piece drive shaft Custom traction bars Airbags Leveling kit 35x12.50r20 nitto terra grappler g2 20x9 xd wheels
Soon to come..... Fass 260 6 point roll bar Drive shaft hoops Removing leveling kit and doing a reverse level 305/55r20 nitto terra grappler 20x10 dropstars 645B Full isspro gauge setup

Talk to me about that transmission dipstick thingy you got there. Looks like a factory locking dipstick in some sort of braided stainless hose.

Also looking into 5 point harnesses, a trans blanket and harmonic balancer. Brook do you have any insight on any of that? I found suncoast makes a sfi 4.1 blanket for the 48re so gunna go with that. I'm trying to figure out how the harnesses attach. I will hopefully be using stock 4th gen seat. But possibly my stock 3rd gen seats.

What's going to happen if you don't make 1000whp this summer on the dyno?

Then I will be getting ready to purchase a non gated t4 secondary. The gated secondary is my choke spot. I have the fuel for 1200 but air is limited due to a t3 manifold and internal gate on the secondary. But even if I don't hit it I will stay with this setup for awhile until and can save up enough for a side by side compound kit because the kit I have now sucks. So I will just buy a whole new kit with a new primary and secondary and remove the passenger side battery

Haisley Machine offers the closest thing to actually providing a safe trans blanket; it covers all he way up to the back of the motor. If you ever actually need it, it's the only thing on the market worth considering at this point. Get a cam lock 5 point harness and an install kit with quick discos. Weld a big arse washer to the floor in front of your seat and bolt through that. Follow regulations to a tee! Don't spend too much because they are only good for two years and it's almost cheaper to replace than get them re-certified. Read up on cummins balancer failures. Get the arp bolts and install the extra roll pin. I bought a Fluidamper.
