I recently got a craving for a single cab Duramax. I am a Chevy guy thru and thru but I had to try out a cummins, so last November I got a super nice but used cummins. This truck just didn't make me fall in love after a few months, then I ran into some problems with it, so I dumped the truck. I had been looking for a single cab for about 3 weeks when I came across this one. The price was right and it was very well taken care of. It is an 2005 GMC 3500 and it has a very long way to go, but I figured I should start a build thread for it. so far on the truck I have only changed all fluids, all looked great removed the snow plow mount, put the skid plates back on it, and changed out the grill and mirrors. she has a very long way to go and it will be a slow build but it should be awesome.

wow what a nice looking little truck. I hope you have big plans that involve 10 seconds with a regular cab duramax. What does the thing weight as of now?

I have all new lights, the lowering shocks and the bumper got color matched yesterday. Lowering kit should be ordered by the end of next week. Should look good once I get it all on.
